#80
Primer is a fast drying, solvent-based black primer used to
coat concrete decks, asphalt roofing, plywood or OSB prior to applying Pol-E-Base,
Stick-Two, E.S. Tape, acrylic roof coatings or Recycled Rubber Roofing.
Allow 2 hours but not more than 8 hours to dry before applying Pol-E-Base,
Stick Two or ES Tape.
Apply #80 Primer at the rate of 150 square feet per gallon. Rate will vary with the porosity of the substrate. Apply with brush, roller or spray. Thinning is not recommended. Equipment is cleaned with mineral spirits. #80 Primer cannot be purchased on the web due to shipping restrictions. Please call 1-800-247-3932 for purchasing options. |

#200
Expansion System Tape is self-adhering synthetic rubber and
bitumen with polyethylene on one side and removable paper on the
other. It provides a seal and slip sheet construction joint over
seams of sheathing and cant strips. Adhered to #80 Primer it
provides instant "dry in" of the sheathing joints.
#200 Expansion Tape is used at all seams and joints of the roof substrate to allow the reinforced Recycled Rubber Roof or Pol-E-Base to expand and contract over the 2" width instead of the narrow crack that may shear the roof membrane. |
|
|
#500
Stick-Two is a non-reinforced roll of rubber and synthetic
resins that is self-adhering on both sides. It provides excellent
bonding to irregular primed surfaces. It has
removable polyethylene
on one side and paper on the other.
Use #500 Stick-Two to mummy wrap vent pipes or plumbing that goes through the roof membrane. Apply under the Pol-E-Base at both inside and outside corners at parapet walls. Sandwich roof vents to roof plywood or OSB. Adhered to #80 Primer it provides instant "dry in" at the cant strips, plumbing, and roof vents. |
|
|
#460
Pol-E-Base is a self-adhering roof membrane with removable
paper on one side and Pol-E-Force (polyester reinforced fabric) on the top
surface. It is an excellent base for acrylic coatings and Recycled
Rubber Roofing.
#460 Pol-E-Base is applied centered over the cant strips from the field area of the roof and up the parapet walls. Pol-E-Base is available in 4", 6", 12" and 36" widths, so it can be used for patching problem areas, valleys, or the entire roof. |

|
#100
Vap-R-Lok is a liquid acrylic emulsion. It cures to a
tough, flexible membrane which prevents stain penetration, bleeding and
water migration. It is an excellent saturant for Pol-E-Scrim and
creates a bonding surface for Recycled Rubber Roofing.
When using #100 Vap-R-Lok over the #80 Primer, apply at the rate of 80 square feet per gallon to adhere and saturate the roof fabric. This includes the Pol-E-Force at the parapets as well as the Pol-E-Scrim on the field area of the roof. |
|
|
#5511
Pol-E-Scrim is a 5x5 - strands-per-inch polyester scrim with a thin layer
of spun bonded polyester bonded to the top side. This is a special
purpose roofing fabric with high tensile strength in both directions, plus
elongation.
#5511 Pol-E-Scrim is applied over the entire field area of the roof. Start at the low (eave) side and shingle lap 2". Apply fabric over wet #100 Vap-R-Lok and smooth the fabric with a long-handle paint roller. |

#700
Recycled Rubber Roofing is a liquid emulsion formulated with
the use of ground rubber recycled tires. The cured product produces
a black monolithic elastic membrane. Do not thin. Tools and
equipment clean with water.
#720 Recycled Rubber Roofing is the same as the #700 except that it cures to light gray instead of black. This gives the option of a more reflective surface for warmer climates. The acrylic binders of both #700 and #720 are compatible with cured asphalt, concrete, metal and wood. Recycled Rubber Roofing is applied with sponge brush, short nap roller or airless spray. Coat at the rate of not less than 2 gallons per 100 square feet or more than 3 gallons per 100 square feet per coat. Apply 2 coats with not less than 48 hours of drying cure time after first coat. The parapet wall above the Pol-E-Base may be coated with RRR after priming with #80 Primer. As an option, Recycled Rubber Roofing may be coated with reflective white or grey elastomeric roof coatings immediately after curing. |

#600
Fabric Saturant is an acrylic designed as a saturant and adhesive for the
Pol-E-Force fabrics. The high solids acrylic formulation is a
deterrent to stains and asphalt bleeding.
#600 Saturant/Primer is a light green translucent liquid acrylic. Use to saturate and adhere polyester roof reinforcing fabrics and condition chalky surfaces of weathered acrylic or asphalt coatings. |
|
|
#1300
White Plastic is a liquid acrylic emulsion that cures to a
tough, flexible waterproof membrane and comes in either white or grey. #1300 is an elastomeric product
with exceptionally high solids content. #1300 is UL listed and a
time tested product since 1975.
#1300 White Plastic is applied to the entire surface at the rate of 100 square feet per gallon. |
|
|
#1300T
White Plastic is bright white, as compared to off-white
#1300. Use as the top coat on the roofing applications when a more
reflective surface is desired.
#1300T White Plastic is applied over the #1300 as a finish coat at the rate of 100 square feet per gallon. |
|
|
#160 Pol-E-Force fabrics are 100% polyester spunlaced structures entangled hydraulically to form a strong yet conforming membrane for cold applied asphalt and acrylic emulsions on uneven roof surfaces. The design of the structure eliminates air pockets and allows the roof coatings to flow through and saturate. Pol-E-Force is lightweight, non irritating to the skin and is resistant to rot and mildew. |

#885
Roof Vent is an aluminum one way, two-piece structure that is
insulated to eliminate condensation. It allows moisture and air
pressure to escape. The insulation is EPS and a fabric that keeps
the moisture from entering the roof system.
Install one #885 Roof Vent to each 1000 Square foot of roof area. Cut a 3" hole in the roof deck and sandwich the base of the Roof Vent with #500 Stick-Two. The installation is completed by finishing the field area of the roof.
